What pops up in your mind when you hear the word: community? Perhaps the first thing that comes to mind is your neighborhood, a book club, a support group, or maybe something entirely different. To us, a community is a group of people who are working together towards similar goals; people who want to learn, grow, and help others be successful in their endeavors.
One of the things that we want to instill in our partners, is that they aren’t alone in their day-to-day struggles and that we are here to help. That’s one of the many reasons why we started our Barracuda MSP Insiders Community! The hub is available to any Barracuda MSP partner, and it is always growing and changing. We asked Lindsay Faria, the director of partner marketing at Barracuda MSP, what she would tell a new partner joining us about this platform. Lindsay shared:
“I would love to see every one of our Partners join this community. It’s a great place for MSPs to get the most out of their relationship not just with Barracuda MSP, but with their fellow partners. Aside from being able to network and trade best practices in the Discussions forums, participants also earn points for all their activity in the platform. Whether for giving product feedback, giving input for an upcoming webinar, or simply answering a short survey, the more active the person is, the more points they earn. Those points can then be redeemed for rewards. Rewards vary throughout the year, so it’s a good idea to come in often and check out the rewards catalog. You might find gift cards, passes to an industry event, or something fun and seasonal – Like a nice new bike for summer! We try to balance fun with education in the hub, and the partners love it.
The time I spend in our Insiders hub is one of my favorite parts of my role because it lets me connect 1:1 with so many partners. I love getting to know them as individuals and hearing their direct input and ideas.”
3 Ways to get the most out of MSP Insiders
The Barracuda MSP Insiders community is always changing, whether it be a new discussion started by one of your peers, new challenges, or cool rewards, there is always something new! To get the most out of your experience, here are three things you don’t want to miss out on.
- Join the discussion. One of the most valuable things about MSP Insiders is connecting with your service provider peers and getting their feedback! Start a discussion of your own or hop on a thread to learn how to navigate common challenges, find out which products fit best in your customer’s environment, make valuable connections, and more.
- Cruise through the challenges and get rewarded. Our challenge section has a little bit of something for everyone—enablement pieces to grow your business, a place to share your valuable feedback, and somewhere where you can share your industry expertise with your peers. Insiders who participate in the challenges will tell you that they find just the right mix of education and fun in there. Some days you’ll earn points for checking out a product update, and some days you’ll get points for participating in a funny picture caption contest. Challenges are where a lot of the excitement happens; you never know what you’ll see next.
