The past couple of months have been pretty eventful here at Intronis. We got acquired by Barracuda and finished our office expansion, and we’ll be making some exciting new product announcements very soon. (Stay tuned!)
The underlying theme tying it all together is growth. We outgrew our old space and expanded the office to make room, building new offices and conference rooms and creating more open work space to foster collaboration. We’re adding to almost every functional team, from sales and marketing to engineering and support. And as part of Barracuda, we now have access to a broader portfolio of solutions, and that is helping us quickly innovate and expand our product offerings.
It’s been an exciting journey so far, and we’re looking for more people to join the team and help us take things to the next level. Think you have what it takes to make the cut? Let’s find out. Here at Intronis, we never settle for good enough. Whether you work on the product management team or in the marketing department, we’re always pushing ourselves to improve and do even more for our Partners. This means keeping an open mind and knowing how to test a new idea, measure its impact, and then make the necessary adjustments.
2. Innovate: Think outside the box
Creative thinking is a critical part of the iteration process. Incremental improvements are nice, but you need to be willing to think outside the box and make bold suggestions in order to truly innovate. At Intronis, we want to foster this type of thinking, and each quarter we recognize and reward the employees who have embodied this value the most.
3. Be successful by making our Partners successful
Helping our Partners succeed goes far beyond the Partner Success team. We want everyone on the Intronis team to keep the big picture in mind at all times, whether they work directly with Partners or not. In every project we work on, whether it’s making improvements to the Intronis ECHOplatform, developing new product offerings, or adding more rebrandable sales and marketing materials to the Intronis Partner Toolkit, we consider how it will benefit our Partners and help them make their businesses more successful.
4. Collaborate and work as a team
Teamwork and communication are key parts of the Intronis culture. That’s why we created more open work space in our recent office expansion. Our new “snowflake-style” desk arrangements foster collaboration, and we included plenty of flexible open spaces for impromptu meetings, brainstorming, and more. We want to encourage open communication both on individual teams and between different departments. It’s the only way to really get things done.
5. Have fun and be healthy
We also know how to kick back and have a good time here at Intronis. From hosting team trivia nights and playing in a ping-pong tournament against the Barracuda CEO to push-up contests and summer BBQs, we love finding ways to bring everyone together that don’t feel like work. It helps build community and makes coming to work a little more fun.
